04-07-2007:Océanis 37 to receive UK debut at Southampton Boat Show 2007
Ancasta berths 186-192 at Southampton Boat Show
Ancasta, Europe’s largest boat sales network, will be helping to make boating more accessible to a greater number of people with the showing of the Bénéteau Océanis 37 at this year’s Southampton Boat Show.
Like all Bénéteau, the new Océanis 37 is imaginative and innovative. Bénéteau has worked with the world’s top yacht and interior designers – Group Finot and Nauta Design – providing great attention to detail to bring this new generation cruiser to the public.
The 37 has clean, elegant lines, giving a high performance hull; a cruising cockpit which doesn’t compromise on space, safety and ease of handling and, lastly, a below decks layout that continues the Bénéteau tradition, while reflecting the brand’s innovative profile in terms of value, storage, mouldings, light and style.
Two large windows are incorporated into the sleek roofline giving maximum light below decks. The cockpit has plenty of room to move around, with ample storage including a large transom liferaft locker. A cockpit table adds to the social side of the yacht.
A well designed, practical companionway door and generous treads give easy saloon access and there is a choice of either two or three cabins.
The forward cabin is a generous size, with excellent headroom and ventilation, a berth wide enough and long enough for real comfort and plenty of storage.
The galley is well equipped with refrigeration, fresh water and stowage capacity for long-distance cruising – after all the Océanis is primarily all about sailing.
The 37 is the fifth in Bénéteau’s upgraded Océanis range and combines comfort, ergonomic design, performance and designer looks to deliver unbeatable value for money.
