07-02-2007:HYS Rigging appointed as UK agent for Powerlite PBO standing rigging from Applied Fiber

Hamble based specialist HYS Rigging has been appointed by US firm Applied Fiber as one of the first trained Powerlite dealers in the UK.

Powerlite is a PBO standing rigging product that replaces wire or rod rigging for yachts. This lightweight, high strength fibre technology is well known for its use in large, racing yachts. Now, through HYS, Powerlite brings affordable PBO rigging into the reach of vessels in the 24ft to 45ft range.

Dennis Fisher of HYS Rigging says: “The demand for lightweight high strength rigging products has grown significantly over the last twelve months.
