Press Release
04-01-2007:ANCASTA’S BROKERAGE TEAM PROVIDES EXPERT ADVICE AND INFORMATION AT THE LONDON BOAT SHOW(ALSO AVAILABLE IN LONDON BOAT SHOW PRESS PACKS)
Ancasta International Boat Sales, Europe’s largest boat sales network, will be displaying details of its extensive and dynamic brokerage services across two main brokerage stands at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show in January 2007. Visitors to the event will be able to experience Ancasta’s range of services on the Brokerage Sail stand N058 and on the Brokerage Power stand S312 with crafts available to view from £25,000 – £5 million.
Ancasta has been established for 25 years and has 22 offices in the UK and Europe. The company is the number one dealer for new Beneteau cruising and cruiser/racing yachts, exclusive UK dealer for Bavaria Motor Boats and Rodman Yacht and Muse ranges, European dealer for Marten Yachts and sole UK distributor for the Lagoon range of sailing catamarans.
With over 100 staff employed by Ancasta, the company encompasses skills ranging from power boating and driving RIBs, to international racing in super yachts, offshore and inshore cruisers, sports boats and catamarans.
The only brokerage network to offer such a wide coverage in prime marina locations across the UK and Europe, Ancasta ensures every broker is trained to the industry ABYA (Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents) standard. Ancasta provides advice on boat presentation, recommended selling price and paperwork issues, and facilitates successful price agreements between vendors and buyers .
Another exclusive service is the Ancasta ‘Ancanet’ database. This unique system is designed to match buyer’s needs with boats available. Sales Director Nick Ryley explains, “When a boat is listed for sale with us, we can press a button which will match the boat specification to literally hundreds of potential purchasers. The specification is then immediately emailed and posted to these buyers, in many cases provoking an instant response and a speedy sale or purchase.
“We spend a lot of time to discover exactly what a first time buyer wants out of a boat. We then advise them on what type of craft may be suitable for them and explaining why, without using boating jargon. We also offer them guidance on training, berthing, maintenance and running costs. Impartial advice on surveys and sea trials, the importance of documentation and a controlled buying process gives them the confidence to ‘take the plunge’ and obtain their first boat.”
Ancasta also instigates regular Health and Safety Audits as part of its internal compliance requirements. This year saw the company reviewing best practice for sea trails, a key area to ensure potential customers enjoy a safe and rewarding boating experience at all times.
Within its extensive marketing activities, Ancasta organises eight Used Boat Shows and five New Boat Shows throughout the year, held at locations across the UK South Coast.
