Hydro International to showcase extensive range of Flood Management Services at Floodex 2020

Hydro International will exhibit at leading trade event for the flood risk, sustainable drainage, and water level management sector, Floodex 2020. The company will showcase its range of products and capabilities designed to efficiently prevent flooding and manage flood risk via monitoring, modelling, forecasting and warning.

Hydro International’s flood services help people, companies and public organisations to understand their current and potential future flood risk, enabling them to mitigate and plan for flood events and minimise or prevent damage and disruption to homes, businesses, infrastructure and the environment. Its Hydro-Brake® Flood and Hydro-Brake® Optimum vortex flow controls have been used worldwide to control flows in stormwater management and flood prevention schemes, ranging in size from just a few litres per second up to large flood alleviation schemes controlling flows in excess of 33 m3/s.

Floodex regularly plays host to many well-attended seminars surrounding a variety of topics, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). Hydro International will demonstrate its SuDS capabilites at the show, as well as its expertise and experience in flood alleviation schemes.

Hydro International will have a team of specialists on hand at Floodex 2020, including the Hydro-Logic® Services team’s Rob Burton – a hydrometrist with over 16 years experience – and Karl Hall, Hydro International’s Midlands Technical Manager with 30 years in the construction sector, the last 17 of which have seem him specialising in flood defence systems and latterly sustainable drainage systems.

Hydro International will have other key personnel on the stand at Floodex 2020 to provide visitors with in-depth information about the company, its products and any developments planned for 2020.
