Shakespeare®, the market leader in antenna design and manufacturer of manmade fibres for today’s demanding manufacturing environment, has donated more than £8,000 to charities at the start of 2025.
In partnership with Lancashire Waste Recycling, Shakespeare® recycled 37.97 tonnes of waste from January to December 2024. This is an increase in last year’s contributions by 15.63 tonnes.
The partnership has enabled Shakespeare® to reduce recycling costs and improve its environmental impact due to less landfill waste. The savings made by the company have been donated to a variety of different charities which include: Trinity/Brian Hospice, Helping Hearts Fylde, Homeless Hounds, Blue Skies, North West Air Ambulance and local animal charities.
Gary Walsh, General Manager at Shakespeare®, comments, “We’re always searching for ways to reduce our footprint and give back. We’re pleased that we’ve been able to make a larger donation this year and therefore support more charities. We hope we can continue to build on this year on year.”
