WesCom Defence to exhibit at first ever DSEI Japan
WesCom Defence, part of WesCom Signal and Rescue, the world-renowned specialist in pyrotechnic products for signalling, illumination, minefield breaching and training and simulation, announces it will exhibit at the first ever DSEI Japan from 18 – 20 November 2019, held in Makuhari Messe on stand A390.
This year’s DSEI Japan is eagerly anticipated by organisers, exhibitors and visitors alike as it will be the first large scale, fully integrated defence event to take place in the country. The event is expected to welcome over 250 exhibitors and offers the perfect platform for the global defence industry to meet, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities with Japan and the rest of the world.
WesCom Defence’s Director of Business Development and Sales, Holger Mügge, will be attending the show for the brand. WesCom Defence will display a selection of key products on the stand from the current range, showcasing the highest quality of specialist pyrotechnic products for the defence industry and latest developments in pyrotechnic technology. These include the ManPAD Simulator and WesCom’s PEMBS minefield breaching systems.
The ManPAD Simulator, replicates the launch and flightpath of a ground-to-air missile. Upon ignition, it provides a blast, a flare and a white smoke trail that lasts about 10 seconds to create an exact indication of a missile’s flight path, allowing for the direction a threat comes from to be visible. WesCom’s PEMBS minefield breaching systems are designed to overcome the major hindrance that a minefield can pose during combat. After detonation, a clear pathway through the minefield can be identified and established.
Key personnel will also be available to talk to visitors about the company’s capabilities in a variety of solutions from pyrotechnic flares for illumination to Portable Explosive Minefield Breaching Systems (PEMBS).
