Work with us

We're always on the look out for exciting new talent - could this be you?

At ADPR, you’ll work with marine and outdoor brands on projects that make a real impact. The work is varied and rewarding, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop along the way.

Just as important is the environment around it.

We believe people do their best work when they feel trusted, supported and able to be themselves. That means creating a culture where careers can grow alongside real life, not compete with it.

We’re a team-first business built around flexibility, understanding and open communication. People here are encouraged to take ownership, bring ideas forward and grow their careers meaningfully.

We’re on the hunt for a PR Apprentice to join our talented team

Hot off the press! We are recruiting for a PR Apprentice to join our thriving communications agency, with a Higher Level 4 (Higher National Certificate) apprenticeship.

We are looking for an ambitious individual who loves to get stuck in and learn from those around them, has a curious mind and is a confident communicator.

You will be working with an experienced team of dedicated professionals, alongside a proven training programme from the PRCA (Public Relations and Communications Association) to develop your career. Many of our team joined early in their careers and have progressed into senior positions.

PR is all about helping organisations tell their stories, build their reputation and connect with the people who matter most. At ADPR, we work with marine, outdoor and local brands on projects that make a real impact. Our work is varied and rewarding, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop along the way.

No two days are the same, but you could be:

  • Writing press releases, blogs and social media content
  • Building relationships with journalists and influencers
  • Supporting product launches, events and campaigns
  • Researching stories and industry trends
  • Attending client meetings and networking events
  • Working with AI and digital tools to create engaging content
  • Learning how strategic PR helps businesses grow

We’re a people-first business built around flexibility, understanding and open communication. Our team are encouraged to take ownership, bring ideas forward and grow their careers meaningfully.

What you can expect:

  • Genuine flexible working that works around real life
  • Bespoke training and development plans
  • A supportive, inclusive and down-to-earth team culture
  • Bonus scheme
  • Regular socials, events and team days
  • Mental health first aiders across the business
  • 33 days’ holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) PLUS an extra two weeks over Christmas
  • Your birthday off every year (because life’s too short to spend it at work)

The successful candidate will support our existing team with client programmes across our core marine, outdoor and local sectors – so an interest & willingness to be immersed in these industries is important.

This is a full-time, hybrid role. You will split your time between our office in Long Sutton, Somerset and from your home working set up. There is some travel as part of the role, so means to get into the office and events is essential.
