Haslar Marina announces the launch its inaugural wedding fayre, inviting guests to step aboard The Lightship for an intimate showcase weekend, from 19 – 20 October 2024, from 10am to 4pm.
Guests are invited to discover the unique venue and meet some of the region’s leading wedding suppliers, as they explore their options for their perfect wedding day at the marina.
Couples planning their wedding will experience a venue like no other onboard The Lightship, located at Haslar Marina, which can host up to 80 wedding guests. The first event of its kind presents guests with the opportunity to explore the historic ship, boasting stunning waterfront views, blended with the charm of the maritime history and modern elegance. A host of local wedding suppliers will be available to share their top planning tips and services, with companies offering the perfect designer wedding gowns to stunning florists.
Unlike larger wedding fayres, the intimate nature of The Lightship ensures a relaxed, personal atmosphere where couples can take their time to explore the space and visualise their perfect romantic celebration. The event is tailored for those looking to avoid the overwhelming crowds of traditional fayres, providing ample opportunity to engage with key suppliers on a one-on-one basis.
