Chatham launches Summer 2022 collection
Chatham, the market leader in marine and country footwear, unveils its latest collection for Summer 2022.
Putting your best foot forward has never been so easy – both the men’s and women’s collections draw inspiration from Chatham’s love for being outdoors, combined with its signature British style integrating traditional craftsmanship and the finest materials. The collection includes everything you could ever need from deck shoes to flip-flops and trainers to boots.
A particular highlight this season, Chatham expands its deck shoe range with a fully sustainable option: Java G2. Crafted from premium quality upper leather sourced from the LWG gold-rated tannery, Tehchang, Java G2 resets the standard of marine footwear. Designed using the Genesis leather concept, this range aims to reduce consumption of water, harmful chemicals and energy throughout the manufacturing process, and features Chatham’s renowned SOLESPRING COMFORT TECHNOLOGY, whereby natural latex foam replaces polyurethane foams. This style also benefits from rot-proof, natural waxed cotton thread, hand-waxed and hand-stitched, and a one-piece leather lace that has been sourced from the LWG gold-rated tannery, ISA TanTec. Offering the best durability and slip resistance, its sole is made from a natural latex rubber outsole and is available for £110 (women’s) and £115 (men’s).

For men this season, Chatham introduces Kayak G2 Deck Shoe – a canoe fronted deck shoe with enhanced grip sole unit and rot proof thread. Available in two colours: walnut, and seahorse – RRP £115. Compass G2 also joins the collection this season. A premium super soft leather deck shoe made from moccasin and handstitched on the last, it is available in four colours, terracotta, sky blue, brown/orange and navy/turquoise – RRP £115.
Using barefoot technology on Chatham’s infamous Aqua Go sole unit, Tribe Technical Boat Shoe, offers water drainage holes and quick-drying materials making it the perfect option for your next coastal adventure. Available in two colours, navy/red and grey/yellow – RRP £115. Padar Casual Lace Up completes this roundup, made from classic premium nubuck and suede sneaker with a comfortable EVA midsole and non-slip rubber sole. Available in dark navy and tan – RRP £75.
For the women, Chatham is introducing the Kayak Lady G2 Deck Shoe which is a premium leather upper, full moccasin construction and hand-stitched on the last. With Chatham’s unique 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee. Available in one colour, walnut – RRP £110. Bali Lady G2 Deck Shoe is a soft premium leather shoe complete with a rubber sole, handstitched moccasin with one piece lace and will be available in two beautiful colours, red-brown and light tan – RRP £105. The final edition to the G2 range for Summer 2022 is the Rota G2 Slip-On Deck Shoe, Rota is a slip-on boat shoe made with beautiful leather on a non-slip, non-marking rubber sole. Available in two colours, navy/seahorse, and walnut – RRP £110.
Coming to the women’s sport range is the Cromer Driving Lace Moccasin. An essential addition to anyone’s footwear collection, the sport range is on-trend and easy to wear. The Cromer Driving Lace Moccasin has been crafted with soft premium nubuck leather coupled with a rubber studded sole. Available in three gorgeous colours, dark tan, tan/navy, and navy/burgundy – RRP £75. Last but by no means least, one of Chatham’s most popular designs will be available in an additional colourway come Summer 2022 – light pink. The Pippa deck show is made with a premium washable leather upper on a rubber sole unit along with hand-stitched moccasin construction and leather lace – RRP £110.
