Helly Hansen’s Featherswift TR is lightweight and protective footwear designed for trail running

Global technical outdoor brand, Helly Hansen, introduces its super lightweight and nimble shoe, Featherswift TR (SRP £90), built to take on diverse and rugged terrain whilst offering comfort and stability, making it ideal for performance trail running.

The Featherswift TR is designed with multiple technical features to provide maximum performance and protection in a variety of outdoor environments. It features:

  • A HH® Power-Stride performance EVA compound, providing the optimal balance of cushioning, lightweight, rebound and comfort for enhanced performance, stability and durability.
  • A combination of an HH® Max-Grip and Tough-Wear rubber compound, ensuring the shoe is durable and offers superior traction on any surface, even in unpredictable weather conditions and uneven terrain.
  • A HH® Lite-Frame upper, to delivers stability without adding weight and a HH® Pro Guard toecap to provide added protection, keeping the runner agile and safe in varied landscapes.
  • A waterproof/breathable construction with a PFC-free, hydrophobic-treated and carefully engineered upper to allow air to circulate in and around the foot, retaining a tempered climate while still providing protection in particularly wet or muddy environments.

With a focus on being more sustainable, the Featherswift TR features a variety of recycled components, including laces, webbing, toe box, heel reinforcement and lining, which are all 100% recycled.

Kristofer Eidsgaard, Category Managing Director for Footwear at Helly Hansen, comments, “We launched our new trail running footwear collection last season, and since then we have continued to evolve our designs with performance-driven features and technologies, while also using recycled materials to have a lower impact on the environment. Our Featherswift TR is a result of working alongside competitive trail runners, drawing on their knowledge and insight to create professional-grade gear that can stand up to even the most challenging outdoor environments.”

The Featherswift TR will be available in men’s and women’s specific styles online and in-store from March 2023. To learn more about Helly Hansen’s technologies or collection, please visit www.hellyhansen.com/en_gb.
