German outboard manufacturer, Neander Motors, is pleased to announce it has James Barrett on board to join the team as Senior Engineer.

James Barrett at Neander, comments, I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Neander team. It’s marvelous to be working for a diesel outboard company again. For me, it’s clear diesel is the future for marine, and the Dtorque 50 is a fantastic product for smaller workboats verses. The team have done an incredible job in engineering and marketing its engine since taking over direct distribution. The Dtorque 50 has enormous potential within multiple markets, and given the engine has been out in the field for a number of years, it is well placed to fulfil the huge demand we see for diesel outboards.”

Björn Thomsen, CEO of Neander Motors, comments, “I am very pleased to welcome James to the team, it is clear he is hugely passionate about our product and offering. I am confident he can bring his extensive knowledge and expertise to help us develop what is already an excellent product into something out of this world.”
