With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to start (or even finish) your festive shopping. So, with extended opening hours, exciting seasonal offers and a weekend full of performances, carol singing and a very special guest from Lapland – Clarks Village is the place to be!

Renowned for its crazy offers, special deals and enticing prices, Black Friday is notorious for getting Christmas shopping underway. To mark Black Friday, the UK’s first ever outlet retail centre, Clarks Village is hosting a free weekend of celebrations for shoppers.

Exclusive offers will be announced on Clarks Village website, 24 hours before the weekend starts, promising fantastic bargains across Clarks Village’s impressive line-up of fashion, homeware, jewellery, chocolate and toy shops.

Festive performances, live music, singing and dancing will take place at various times over the 3-days. Little Chix; Britain’s favourite tribute act for world-famous girl band, Little Mix, is top of the list for Black Friday Weekend. Bringing together intricate four part harmonies and high-energy dance routines, Little Chix will perform top hits from the past three Little Mix albums, mixed with some of today’s top chart hits.

Other confirmed names include Oska Zaky; a singer songwriter working with Urban Monk from the Amy Winehouse Foundation, Lili White; an acoustic singer based in Somerset and working in London, Bruton School for Girls’ jazz band, chamber choir, instrumentalists and singers, and The Crewkerne Dance School.

Spreading the musical joy, a roaming Mexican, Mariachi band will also delight visitors with three, 30 minute performance on Saturday and an acoustic guitar and singer group Holly & The Heels will be roaming the Centre performing for three, 30 minute sessions on Sunday.

Commenting on the festive weekend, Chris Davis, Centre Manager for the shopping village, says, “Christmas has officially arrived at Clarks Village and we are very excited for our Black Friday Weekend. Our guests will be able to enjoy the amazing offers available as well as be entertained by an exciting range of performers.”

Mr M Dury, Director of Music at Bruton School for Girls, adds, “It is a pleasure to be involved with Clarks Village’s seasonal celebrations for a second year in a row. The students at Bruton School for Girls thoroughly enjoy performing in a variety of public venues as well as within the school environment, with the Christmas period offering many opportunities for the girls to share their music with others.”

Father Christmas will be making a special visit to see the Clarks Village shoppers on Friday 24 November, from 12-3pm and again from 4-6pm, ready to greet the children. For those who have been really good this year, Santa will also have a small gift as part of spreading a little bit of extra magic this Christmas. His festive helpers will be at Clarks Village for the rest of the weekend, helping children to write wish lists and Santa promises to personally write back to everyone who posts their letter in the Village on Saturday and Sunday.

For added sparkle in the run up to Christmas, a large Snow Globe confetti game will be open for the public to catch the golden ticket. All the golden ticket winners will be entered into a prize draw and five of them will win a £50 Clarks Village Gift Card. There will also be a prize draw to win your weekend’s shopping back* and for the adults, a champagne bar, and of course, the range of coffee shops, cafes and restaurants to keep you refreshed.
