"Since working with ADPR, our national press coverage has increased considerably. Their weekly, sometimes daily, interaction and communication with us has been amazing, and pushed us in terms of gaining more coverage – including blogger visits, tabloids, any others you can think of! Their brainstorm network always comes back with workable ideas and we are looking forward to working with them into 2020 and beyond.”
Through regular team brainstorms and creative sessions, ADPR was able to generate meaningful strategies which were used to promote on-site events such as Philip Gray’s world-first underwater cave painting, and seasonal activities such as the Halloween Hocus Pocus special and Wookey’s Winter Wonderland at Christmas. ADPR also secured a headline spot on The Sun’s ‘Win a Wedding’ competition, offering up Wookey Hole’s famous caves as the venue for one lucky couple. Utilising a combination of print, online and broadcast media, ADPR was able to proactively reach a host of horizontal and vertical media to secure positive coverage and media mentions for these activities. ADPR has also worked on a B2B basis with Wookey Hole, creating Q&As with some of the key spokespeople at the company to put them forward for inclusion in expert and industry features.
ADPR’s efforts over this six-month period resulted in valuable feature pieces in national titles such as The Sun, The Daily Star and The Daily Mail, with primetime broadcast coverage on BBC News TV, The Breeze radio and Heart radio.
Strong relationships with local and regional media also led to regular features in titles such as Somerset Life, Somerset Live, Bristol Live, Central Somerset Gazette and Bridgwater Mercury.
