Bath & West Society welcomes first occupier to Rural Enterprise Centre

The Royal Bath & West Society welcomes its first occupier to its new Rural Enterprise Centre. Mike Duberry from Hawkgrove Ltd, a software company specialising in the rail industry, has become the first occupier in the innovative space.

Work is now complete at the Rural Enterprise Centre, following a £520k refurbishment, which has transformed it into a cutting edge facility – set to become the hub of rural enterprise across Somerset and the South West of England, encouraging knowledge sharing, education and business growth amongst the rural community.

Mike comments, “I am delighted to be the first occupier of this fantastic new space. I love being based at the iconic Bath & West Showground and the location is perfect. It’s close to home and on a main road making access really easy, as well as being less than 10 minutes from Castle Cary’s mainline train station. As the premises have only just finished being renovated, the facilities are excellent, with fibre broadband and plenty of free car parking. The office space is a great size and it’s reasonably priced too. I am really looking forward to working in this fantastic space!”

Rupert Cox, CEO of the Bath & West, adds, “We are pleased to welcome Hawkgrove Ltd as the first occupiers in our new Rural Enterprise Centre. We wanted to create the perfect space for businesses to thrive and grow. Our model for office space is truly flexible and fully serviced. We can provide hot-desking space for those where flexibility is key and we have a couple of offices still available which are suitable for any type of business. Our aim is to help our tenants concentrate on growing their businesses without having to worry about the practicalities of running an office.”

With flexible terms to suit budget and length of tenure, a share of 100Mb of fibre broadband, power and data points, great rural views and plenty of parking, these newly-refurbished first floor facilities offer businesses the facilities they need to prosper.
