Mint Velvet opens at Clarks Village on Thursday 29 November 2018
In the run up to the festive season, the UK’s first ever shopping outlet, Clarks Village reveals luxury womenswear brand, Mint Velvet is opening this week and is all set to join the roster of high-end clothing brands in Somerset. The new store opens on Thursday 29 November 2018.
Established in 2009, the idea for Mint Velvet was born from three friends discussing their desire for more luxe, yet comfortable, clothing over cups of mint tea. They then decided to channel their frustrations into creating a new label that broke the mould – Mint Velvet.
Chris Davis, Centre Manager at Clarks Village, comments, “Mint Velvet is a great addition to Clarks Village, and provides our guests with even more choice in chic fashion at fantastic prices. Welcoming another brilliant British brand, such as Mint Velvet, to Clarks Village further cements our commitment to continuing the development of the village and our premium retail strategy.
A spokeswoman for Mint Velvet comments, “The brand was established in 2009 by three woman, who created the brand and it’s ethos around their own personal frustrations of wanting luxe yet relaxed, affordable clothing – therefore the relaxed glamour concept was born.”
