Helly Hansen’s Urban collection showcases versatility with 3-Component System

Since 1877, global technical outdoor brand, Helly Hansen, has taken its best technologies and fabrics designed for professionals and incorporated them into the brand’s urban-wear lines of sleek, progressive designs. Its 3-in-1 philosophy will keep users protected in any winter climate, while allowing you to remove or add layers for varying temperatures.

The new collection brings the quality you expect from Helly Hansen to the urban environment, taking inspiration and detail from the professional sailors, ski patrollers, and polar expeditioners who use Helly Hansen every day.

The 365-in-1 Parka brings 3-in-1 to a new level, offering enough tech features to summit Everest, but styled for urban environments. The separate garments layer efficiently and comfortably over one another, while traceable Allied Down, PrimaLoft® insulation, H2Flow temperature regulation system and Helly Tech® waterproofing all add to the immense protection and ability to adapt to any location when wearing this parka. At the base is a PrimaLoft® insulator with zip-off arms to take wearers from cool days in the city, to battling freezing temperatures when adding layers two and three. Its protective shell jacket features the Life Pocket™, which keeps your phone battery alive for longer, as well as 3 ply exterior materials, mechanical ventilation, and hi vis detailing for added safety and visibility. Once temperatures really drop, the Allied Down jacket, with built-in balaclava, added gloves, reach-through pocket and adjustable hood will have you ready to take on the Arctic Circle.

For a more business-appropriate look, men and women in cold winter conditions will appreciate the sleek designs of the Helsinki 3-in-1 Coat and Women’s Helsinki 3-in-1 Coat. These stylish, comfortable 3-season coats feature 2 ply fully seam-sealed constructions, and are windproof, waterproof and breathable. Both use professional grade protection from Helly Tech® waterproofing, and a removable PrimaLoft® liner, giving wearers the ability to use each layer on its own. Fold up reflectives and removable hoods add to the versatility of these pieces, and offer unique outer materials with a waterproof wool for men and a peached-look technical fabric for women.

Tor Jenssen, Chief Marketing Officer for Helly Hansen, says, “The industry is seeing a shift towards versatility. Although Helly Hansen has always offered versatile products, previous focus was towards varying temperatures and weather conditions. We’re now seeing that versatility plays a part on far more levels than before and features like ‘3-in-1’, ‘packable’, and ‘reversible’ give consumers more choice and ease-of-use in every garment, in a range of conditions.”
