For the Norway-based clothing brand Helly Hansen, creating technical outerwear for the outdoors has meant more than keeping people dry and protected – it allows wearers to stay and feel alive when experiencing nature. Teaming 1990s-inspired colours and cuts with today’s sustainable processes and technical materials, the autumn/winter 2019 Protect & Connect collection is a mix of puffers, water resistant and waterproof jackets, and pants, all made with eco-conscious solution-dyed yarns and recycled materials.

By using solution-dyed fabrics, the creation process reduces water usage by 75% and colour will never wash out or fade. All additional materials, including insulation and zippers, are 100% recycled and vegan.

Showcasing all the highlight features of the collection are the W P&C Puffer Parka and the P&C Quilted Anorak. With goals of protecting you from the elements, while also connecting you to the elements, the solution-dyed face fabric includes Helly Tech® for protection from rain, 100% recycled PrimaLoft® insulation for warmth, and a padded, water-resistant Life Pocket™, which will keep your phone battery lasting longer in cold temperatures.
