Hydro International to showcase new stormwater design tool at Highways UK

Hydro International is launching a new online design tool that will be demonstrated at Highways UK at the NEC, Birmingham on the 7th and 8th November 2018.

Based in Clevedon, UK, Hydro International has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing stormwater, wastewater, flood control and combined sewer overflow (CSO) products that are used all over the world. The company’s stormwater management products control, store and treat surface water before it reaches the environment, protecting important and fragile ecosystems.

As well as showcasing its stormwater management range of products, Hydro International will also be exhibiting a new online stormwater design tool, which allows drainage design engineers to not only design Hydro-Brake® Optimum vortex flow controls, but also to size the Downstream Defender® and First Defense® vortex separators, with performance data and dimensioned drawings available at the click of a button.

Hydro International Business Development Manager UK, Mark Goodger, said, “Our technical engineers and specialists have been hard at work producing this effective new design tool, and we are excited to be in a position to unveil it at the prestigious Highways UK exhibition.”

Demonstrations of the design tool will take place on the Hydro International stand J19 on both days of the show, at 11am and 2pm.

Hydro International is also hosting a webinar entitled, ‘How selecting the right drainage solution can help manage highways construction and operational risk’, on Wednesday 14th November at 1pm.
