Marine recruitment company riding on the crest of a wave

Specialist marine and maritime recruitment company, Marine Resources, announces 2018 as its best year yet, with a raft of new client wins and business successes for the Southampton, UK, based firm.

Hot on the heels of the news the recruitment agency is set to exhibit at Monaco Yacht Show in September for the first time in its history, Marine Resources announces it has won multiple new clients, placed a record number of candidates and taken on five new staff itself, as the firm continues to grow and 2018 shapes up to be its best ever year.

As a result of Marine Resources’ continued success, the company announces it is merging sister company Elite Maritime Selection (EMS) into the wider Marine Resources fold. Marine Resources founder and Managing Director, James Ward, comments, “This year has been phenomenal so far and Marine Resources continues to go from strength to strength. The introduction of our contracting service, alongside our growth in the superyacht sector, has all contributed to the success of the company. Our brand is well-recognised now, and our place in the market has been cemented, so in-line with the long term strategic plan for the business, we’re merging EMS with Marine Resources. Due to increasing cross over between the two companies, there is simply no longer the requirement to have a separate commercial maritime brand.”

Elite Maritime Selection was launched in 2015 as a specialist recruitment company for the maritime and commercial marine industries. Now, thanks to market changes and increased brand awareness of Marine Resources, all commercial maritime clients formerly under the EMS banner will be serviced by the wider Marine Resources team.

Marine Resources is a leading international provider of bespoke recruitment and headhunting services for the marine industry. It is sponsoring the ‘Best Apprenticeship and Training Scheme’ award category at this year’s Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement, presented at METSTRADE in November 2018.
